Majestic Malta

May 10, 2018 by Gordon SouthgateLeave a Comment

With beautiful beaches, amazing geographical formations, and fantastic shopping, … [Read more...]

Aruba on my Mind

October 3, 2017 by Dave8 Comments

Having explored much of the Caribbean but not yet the ABC's (Aruba, Bonaire & Curaçao) - I opted to take a week long late summer trip to Aruba. The weather on the island is certainly highly appealing with usually fairly constant temperatures moderated by trade winds, little rain on an annual basis, lots of sunshine and is located outside of the hurricane belt. Although I did have to reroute my original return flight plan which was through Houston … [Read more...]

Italy Is Always A Good Idea

August 1, 2017 by Julie StevensLeave a Comment

I know this title normally refers to Paris, but for me, Italy has been on my mind and in my dreams since I first saw the movie "Only You" with Robert Downey Jr. & Marisa Tomei. (Try to picture my thumb and fingers together waving in the air while I say this). There is so much to say about our trip to Italy, so you can expect … [Read more...]

Corpus Christi is Really Unique!

April 11, 2017 by Rich Pearce6 Comments

Baby Sea Turtle - Corpus Christi, Texas

All I knew about Corpus Christi, Texas, before I visited my step-daughter, Michelle, and her family there this summer was that it was a seaside vacation town on the Gulf of Mexico. I expected to find a typical American beach resort, replete with masses of tourists and messy hedonistic vitality. And, that’s what I found - in part. Corpus Christi certainly deserves its reputation as a fun and entertaining place to vacation. And, despite its size … [Read more...]
