Bangkok, Thailand. The temperature in the city remains hot year round although there is certainly seasonal fluctuations in temperature. Most of the year sees high temperatures during the day usually in the low to mid 30 degree Celsius range (90's Fahrenheit) - often accompanied by humidity. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania – The Climb

Mountain Madness guides its clients up Kilimanjaro on the Shira Plateau or the Fisher route. The route Dave chose had about 80 climbers from various companies. To put this into perspective the other side of the mountain (which included the other routes) had 2000 people attempting the summit. Usually the client/guide-porter-cooks ratio is about 4 to 1. Colima, Mexico – Festivals

Colima City is the home to several neat festivals. These are always a highlight and very colorful. Ferias Charro Taurinas San Felipe de Jesus is held in late January and early February every year. It is held to celebrate the Virgen de la Candelaria. It actually takes place in the Villa de Alvarez - about 2 and a half miles north of Colima. Mt. Shasta, CA – Attractions

The following attractions are in or around the town of Mt. Shasta - or slightly further afield, but all are in Siskiyou County. Castle Crags are well worth a visit. Besides Mt.
