Fun and Easy Ways to Keep your Holiday Memories Fresh

October 24, 2018 by Suzanne ELeave a Comment

Travel is fun regardless of what type of traveler you are. Whether you are a globe-trotter, like me, or a regular vacationer you will have some fantastic experiences, while traveling.

Taking photos and videos is a great way of capturing those special moments. The only problem is that, all too often, those snapshots just end up sitting on your laptop or other devices. They rarely get looked and enjoyed.

That is a huge shame, because over time your memories will fade. When that happens, all of those precious moments will be lost forever. When you make those photos accessible, it is easy to look at them and be reminded of those special experiences. That will make you smile and feel happy, even thrilled, all over again. Fortunately, there are lots of ways to make your vacation or trip photos easy to enjoy whenever you want. Here are a few of my favorites.

Put up a travel map in your home
A map of the world printed onto a canvas print is a great way to remind yourself of your travels. These days they are available in several styles and most of the retailers who sell them offer you a range of frame options. So, it is very easy to find one that fits in well with the way your home is decorated. These maps also make great gifts for friends and family.

Treat yourself to a couple of canvas prints
Taking one or two of your best photos and having them turned into canvas prints could not be easier. There are some great online print firms that will do this for you. It will only take you a few minutes to upload your high-resolution photos, choose a frame and size then place your order. When it arrives all you need to do is to hang the print.

Fill a digital photo frame with holiday memories
It is still possible to buy digital photo frames. They are a great way to keep your holiday memories accessible and alive. Plus, when you fancy a change you can use them in other ways to keep your home looking bright and interesting.

Plus, a digital photo frame filled with holiday memories can make a good gift. A lot of grandparents love receiving one, especially if you take the time to regularly update the SD card with new photos, every now and again.

Create a travel collage
A lot of people give a wall in their home over to family photos. If you do that, why not include some of your latest vacations? Make it a habit to get some of your favorite shots printed out. Many online printers offer this service. All you have to do is to upload your photos to your website and wait for them to arrive.

Once they do, you simply swap some of your existing photos for the new ones. It will only take you 30, maybe 45 minutes, to get done.
