I’ve never been one to count the countries I’ve visited, to go to as many countries as possible, to covet stamps in my passport as possible. To me, travel is about the experience. Travel is about immersing myself in cultures and communities where I am a complete stranger. Travel is about feeling slightly uncomfortable. Travel is about getting lost and figuring it out.

I am an American Photo/vidio-grapher living in Germany looking for adventure

I sold my house and got on the road a couple years ago, traveling the country in my Daewoo (a car), staying in hotels - all while doing full time work on the road.

I live to travel and am always looking at where I will be going next, immersing myself in new culture, seeing a new place and of course the food(you will soon find out I am a massive foodie).

Im Chloe Gunning a.k.a Wanderlust Chloe. I love travel, and have spent the last few years on some serious adventures! I launched this site to share my stories, tips and photos with you. I particularly love to travel on my own, and Ive spent a lot of time writing about about solo female travel.

The Wanderlust Chronicles is a photographic journey of two travellers who are consumed by an insatiable desire to wander.

Welcome to Wanderlust Explorers! We are Kiki & Jen, newlyweds as of July 27th, 2013. We have been traveling across the U.S. since June of 2010. Jen is a travel RN (that’s where all of the traveling comes in) and Kiki is a Freelance Art Director/Graphic Designer (meaning she can work from anywhere).

I started this blog in the summer of 2010 under the name Single Occupancy and two years, later, in the summer of 2012, the site was reborn as Wanderlust for One. Blogging about travel combines my love of travel with a few of my favorite hobbies (writing, photography, and web design) while allowing me to document my travels for posterity. The bonus is that I get to share my travels with you.
