Sometimes people ask me when I fell in love with traveling and I find that really hard to answer. It’s like I was just born with the desire to wander to faraway places. My first big travel experience was to my hometown’s Sister City in Japan when I was just nine years old.

Im Kate and I caught the travel bug 7 years ago. After a round the world trip, a year living and working overseas and various other jaunts, I have decided to tell some of the stories Ive featured in and some of the tips I have picked up along the way.

My name is Lily, I live in Chicago, and I love traveling the world with my husband. I always try to find ways to save on travel, visit lesser known cities, and find the most picturesque spots.

Having caught the travel bug not that long ago, I have since been making time to go and explore more of Europe. My city of London is the perfect hub for international travel. I’ve been to 19 European countries so far, but who’s counting!?

This Is My Happiness reflects my passion for culture, art, and travel. I write about these topics with the aim of providing a deeper look at destinations. I also write for Travel Mindset and am an AFAR ambassador.

Through my words and experiences I have influenced others to seek more out of life. They have been moved to have their own adventures and breakaway from the “normal.” This by far is my greatest and proudest achievement. With that in mind I have decided to switch gears from a personal journal to a site that can help others find their adventures and measure their lives by meaningful experiences. I have written two ebooks on these very topics as well as several articles on budget travel, weekend trips, and tips that prove travel is achievable for all.

This Life Of Travel is a digital travel publication who's main purpose is to inspire others to see the world, share beautiful content in a stylish way, and to bring storytellers, photographers, and digital nomads together to celebrate the magic that is travel.
