I'm Fernando. I live in Madrid, but I also lived and worked in France and Scotland for almost 7 years, which is probably a sign of my long-standing curiosity about different cultures. I have travelled to 24 countries so far, but the list of places I'd like to visit keeps growing and I hope to be able to visit many more.

This is a place to make you discover or rediscover small corners of the world that feel unique, inspirational and surprising.

We love traveling – locally, regionally, nationally and internationally (not as often as we would like). We wanted a site where we could share our experiences with friends and family.

Im not a full time traveller – I work full time in marketing, at a job I love. I believe you can still squeeze in great travel experiences, without needing to abandon your career! I keep this blog to share what Ive discovered so far.

The Wander Life was created by Verónica Pamoukaghlian, a Uruguayan writer and filmmaker of Armenian descent.

We are a couple from little ol' England who have decided to leave behind a life of societys expectations, for a life of adventure, amazement, appreciation and fulfillment through travelling the World.

Traveling the world in our current day and age couldn't be easier, and we are going to prove it! Three years ago we traveled in Morocco, last year we visited Australia, and now we are going on a grand adventure by wandering around several South American countries. First on our list is Uruguay, the hidden coastal gem of South America, followed by Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia! Yes, it is a big ticket of countries to visit, but where there is a will - there is a way.

Traveling is one of my greatest passions so I feel incredibly blessed to have spent my college years gallivanting across the globe disguised as this thing called “study abroad.” I’m back in the USA (for now) teaching at an elementary school and pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching.

This is where I write and publish my photography that features travel, food, art and the Okanagan, the wine region of Western Canada. I like to explore the lesser know places as I travel while indulging in the culinary delights of each place I discover which sometimes includes my home, Kelowna.
