The Intrepid Guide is my blog. I'm an Interaction designer, traveller, and language lover. My goal is to show you the most beautiful destinations, share its history, culture and language.

Over the years when planning different itineraries for my travels I noticed there were many helpful blogs and resources that catered to travellers at either end of the monetary spectrum: Those who adhere to small, strict budgets and “wing it” on their journeys OR those who take advantage of travelling in luxurious style and allow others to do the planning.

My name is Ahmed Ijaz. This is my blog and I enjoying writing, traveling with friends, having fun and inspiring others! I traveled often during my childhood between Male’ and Colombo on school and college breaks. I was never a big time traveler though, in fact I didn’t take my first long-haul flight until I was 24. World Travel Market 2006 in London, I had no travel experience. After college and upon return to Male’, I got a job and the standard thirty days an year. I wanted to use that time to travel. After all, it was vacation time, right? I still had a problem, I was earning very little to fly anywhere beyond Sri Lanka, so I started my journey visiting places close with the hope of extending it further over time.

I am a Japanese, who loves to explore around the world. Fell in love with Thailand while my semester exchange in Bangkok and stayed there for 11 months. During the period, I explored throughout the country and I thought I wanted to share the experience, so I decided to start a travel blog

My name is Asdghik Melkonian and i’m a travel blogger & entrepreneur trying to balance my adventures and real life. I come from a very diverse & multicultural background, which got me jetsetting since I was only a few months old! I’m originally Armenian, but I was born in Lebanon and I’ve lived half my life in New Jersey and the other half in Beirut. I know… crazy mix right?

Melissa is a travel writer by trade, who spent five years creating location-based articles for publications including USA Today, Trails, and SurfandSunshine.com. After leaving the nomadic lifestyle behind to become a successful marketing director for a leading online womens brand, Melissa found herself continuing to travel every chance she could, often going on getaways three out of the four weekends each month.
