Travel has liberated me and nothing can compare to being able to fit everything in a single bag and being able to get up and go anywhere I want. The problems I had with life back home all disappeared and Ive never been happier. The Western lifestyle I was pursuing was full of stressful situations and bills. The nomadic lifestyle isnt for everyone but for me it was a perfect fit and just what I was looking for my entire life.

This blog evolved from the idea that it is possible go out and have a great time while not breaking the bank. I currently am living in Thailand on my recent adventure of teaching English!

I’ve always taken photos, especially of Newcastle and my travels, and with so many photo collections I needed a place to put them. I try to travel to as many places as possible, mixing up long haul trips with European breaks and UK weekend getaways.

Ive been extremely fortunate over the 40 years of traveling that Ive done. My fourth passport is rapidly filling up with official stamps from places far more exotic than Newburgh. But no matter how far I travel or how long it takes to get there, Ill always fondly recall the 90-minute drive to my aunt and uncles white house off of Route 32 in upstate New York, where the passion to explore was ignited.
