In 2010 a study abroad program in Xalapa, Veracruz convinced me that Mexico was where I belonged. In 2017 I packed my bags (and my cat) and moved to Mexico for love — of my boyfriend and the culture… But honestly, mostly the culture.

After months of procrastinating, I finally gave in and decided to document my travels. I felt compelled to start this after a little nudge from my family and friends who often ask me about my travels. But more importantly, I needed a creative space to share my travel musings. Ive been traveling since I was three years old. Have basically lived a nomad live since I finished Primary School and now Im based in Kuala Lumpur. Thus breaks the record of the longest stay in my life. Been living here for almost 4 years in the same apartment since 2008. =)

I have bought myself a one way ticket out of this country, ready to do just that. I am in the midst of selling most of my possessions and I have already tendered my resignation. Do I have a plan? No. Do I know where I will end up? No. Do I know when I will come back? No. Do I know what I’ll do when I do come back? No. But that’s the beauty of it. We don’t always have to know the answer. We don’t always have to be in control. Just live.
