travel ideas for jan/feb

I am starting in Peru with Friends in early Jan and then I’m not sure what is next. I have had ideas about patagonia, but I don’t know how it would be best to get there or what would be possible during that time. Also, I am wondering about the weather. I’m not planning for cold weather.

Ideas? Suggestions?
