LaurieI’d like to study Spanish in Colima (the town in Mexico) for a few weeks this summer with my kids, ages 8 and 11. Can anyone recommend a local language school or instructor? Also, how can I find out about houses or apartments to rent there? (My internet searches turn up nothing but hotels.) Any further advice? Thanks!
ShaunaHi Janet, not sure if you’re still checking this site but I’ve recently registered for spanish classes at the University of Colima. It’s a 3 month program starting May 1. I’m not sure if they have anything for your kids as well. Here’s the link for you to check out.
MikeCould you provide additional information regarding costs of classes, length of classes, requirements for entrance, etc. Is this something that can for the most part be completed from the states? Our intention is to retire in about a year at which time we would enroll in Spanish classes at a University somewhere in Mexico. The website you provided did offer some information but I am looking for those extras that are specific to our situation. Can you help?
