BobbiSolomon:
Thanks for the stories. Part of my heart lives in Africa and this is a blood transfusion for me. My daughter is leaving in two weeks for a trip to Kenya with her Grandpa and it is all I can do not to hop the plane. I will have to live vicariously for now. And thanks to you guys I get to.
Blessings and safe travels.

SolomonHi Bobbi,
Thanks for the response. I never saw it until recently. By now I have returned from Africa and am back in southern California. It was an amazing experience, one that I will never forget and I can’t wait to return to Africa again. There are many countries I didn’t make it to. It’s not an inexpensive place to travel through and I need to save a chunk for the next time. Hope you make it out there under that hot vertical african sun someday soon.

BobbiSorry one leg of your trip went sour. Hope all the rest made up for it. My daughter had a marvelous time in Northern Kenya even though she was in a very hot, desolate place for the most part. I was afraid she might be a too spoiled American kid, but she represented her family well and is saving and working for her next trip. It does get to be a habit!
Blessings and perhaps we’ll meet on the trail one day. -
