Internship at an Indian Tour Operator

I am a student of tourism management at a German university. I would like to do my internship (5 months) at an Indian tour operator.

– Can anyone give me information about any good, serious, trustworthy and legitimate tour operators in India?
– Has anyone experiences in the Indian tourism and travel industry?
– Can you give me any advices according to an internship in India?
