Hi There..Do you have any info on a new “inn” and restaurant in Hopland, called Lawson’s Station? Thanks.
Hi Dottie: I live in Mendocino County. Lawson’s Station is a pretty fancy new place in Hopland…rather expensive, starting at $400 per night, I believe. I’ve seen the rooms: they’re luxurious, and, in a way, too much for Hopland. On the other hand, if you’re attending a wedding, New Year’s Eve party, or something special and want to splurge, it’s great. Their restaurant is really pretty darn good (unless you just came from Hawthorne Lane in San Francisco…).
We stayed at The Lawson Station and it was 4-Star all the way. The suite was decorated beautifully with a bar, jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Very romantic. The Shotgun restaurant was a nice surprise with excellent food and great service. We are considering returning for their Buffalo Ranch tour that includes a picnic lunch at their private lake. I would definately return.
