Some vacations do not turn out as expected. Some vacations turn out completely opposite. This is one of those stories. Septuagenarian, Lori Brill travels from her home in Arizona to London to spend time with her granddaughter, Cate. Her plans are derailed almost immediately when she randomly bumps into Josh, a lothario and an old flame from high school.
They enjoy a blazing night of passion in bed in a hotel room. In the morning, Lori leaves Josh sleeping in bed to shower. She returns to bed and then is stopped in her tracks when she sees his lifeless body, shot in the head.
Follow an interplay of twined stories as this read develops, as both and FBI agent and Scotland Yard begin to unravel the case. It is soon brought to light that Josh ran a Ponzi like scheme and swindled hundreds of people.
Who killed Josh? Why? We don’t know until almost the very end of the story.
This read offers international mystery, romance, and plenty of drama to keep one perched on the edge of their hammock from page 1 through page 246.
