My name is Julie Small and I live in the gorgeous seaside village of Thirroul about 60km south of Sydney, Australia. I’m fortunate to live in such a beautiful place set between the blue, blue ocean and an escarpment draped in lush rainforest.
I have always been a traveller with my compass set to the next adventure. I have travelled many parts of the world and treasure that I have had the opportunity to do so. Over the years though I have come to realise that travel doesn't have to only mean the BIG trip, weeks, months, or years of traipsing off to brighter horizons. A lot of people can’t afford this. They have jobs they love, they have friends and family they are close to, they have lives they have built. Why can’t we get that same feeling from day trips, road trips, armchair travelling with the odd BIG trip thrown in? So this is what I hope to do with my blog by providing information and stories of my adventures closer to home and abroad, a virtual guide book of sorts.
