Stylish, lightweight and functional, the America Shield Granite Series Backpack is an ideal day pack for both urban and rural use. While this is an attractive pack, it certainly is also versatile. We like the fact it has a separate liner inside that one can use to hold either a tablet or a laptop.
Made of canvas with leather front straps both for the primary space as well as the smaller front pocket.
The primary space is also easily cinched down with a pull cord while the front pocket can be enclosed with either the front straps or a zipper.
And there are several smaller compartments including a slip in space on the back of the pack, two small cinchable water bottle holder/pockets and even a little zip-up built into one of the straps.
For those that are adverse to checking on luggage in planes when traveling (especially on shorter trips) – this pack has enough space to be the primary carry-on pack for the lightweight traveler.

Yes, you would have to be quite a minimalist if you plan on traveling a year using this backpack – perhaps sticking to warmer weather environs!
