Pine Cone Lodge at Lake Tahoe is located on the West Shore just two doors down from the old Tahoe Cedars Lodge and is where Dave stayed every summer after Tahoe Cedars closed door.
Update : Unfortunately Pine Cone Lodge is no longer available for rent as it has been sold.
This is a nice location for privacy because you are not surrounded by other resorts – instead you are surrounded by other lakeside homes.
This is a beautifully completely furnished house built in 2000 by the owners Jacquie & Bob on the same property as their main home. This is located just off of Highway 89. A private beach is available complete with reclining chairs, a large swinging chair and use of a horseshoe set, several boats, and a Lakeside patio with a fireplace. At night the patio is a great spot to sit in front of the fire and enjoy the cool night air.
The inside of the house is built with pine – it has 2 bedrooms with King Size Beds and 2 bathrooms with a shower in each. A large central room contains the kitchen, dining area and Television. A washer dryer is also provided.
This house is located within walking distance of the PDQ Market, Sugar Pine Point State Park and several restaurants.
A three day minimum stay is required – no pets or smoking allowed.

We loved every year we stayed at Tahoe Cedars Lodge with dear Mrs. Smith and Dorothy Rayner! We are visiting Dorothy now in Saratoga, CA. She is 96 I believe. Fantastic lady!
