Galapagos Volunteering Opportunity
“Lead-Adventures, the local experts in Quito that universities trust with their volunteer projects, offers a three-week, comprehensive volunteer experience in the Galapagos Islands. The projects that participants undertake are designed to restore the balance of the environment that is damaged by the tourist industry. By making this project available they bridge the gap for backpackers who would like to visit the islands and would otherwise pay twice as much for the same amount of time travelling. One week is spent exploring and working on Santa Cruz, the next discovering the beauty of San Cristobal, and the third is a week spent care-free on Isabela. The cost of the trip is 1590.00 with accommodation and meals included with the exception of the last weekend on Santa Cruz. They also can arrange round trip airfare for 420.00,extend the trip for two weeks, and co-ordinate Spanish classes in Quito. One month notice is required to arrange the details.
