A good jewelry store in Bangkok is the Gems and Jewelry Trade Center Co., LTD. We’ve had several Thai people recommend this store to me when I polled them on the streets of Bangkok including a Dentist and a well dressed business woman literally covered in jewelry!! This store is known for their quality of gemstones.
They are located near a large above ground concrete express way on 12 Soi Rong Muang 2 Road, Prathumwan. Their phone number is: (662) 613 9000 – ask for a Mr. Chairat.
We were also recommended by a “doctor”, from the nearby police hospital, whom we accidently met close to central world, who told us how he got 30% discount the other day from his friend Mr Chairat. Everything was perfect directed like in a movy: a call to the nurse- who then appeared with her shiny saphire and the tuk tuk driver who delivered us directly to Mr Chairat, who of cause remembered very well his friend Dr. “Sunshine” We met Mr Chairat- a tough serious seller- but for sure we overpayed by min 30% because we din’t read daves travel corner before.
