Historic Photo Opportunity Celebrating Launch of Goodman’s New Memoir to Take Place Saturday, May 25, 10:30 a.m.

Oscar Goodman, showgirls and 100 individuals wearing Oscar Goodman face masks and t-shirts printed to look like pin-striped suits
WHAT:
Historic “Being Oscar” photo opportunity with Oscar Goodman to commemorate the launch of his new memoir, “Being Oscar, from Mob Lawyer to Mayor of Las Vegas, Only in America.”
The first 50 people who arrive at The Mob Museum on the morning of Sat., May 25, by 10 a.m. will have the opportunity to don “Oscar Goodman” masks and “pin-striped suit” t-shirts and will join Goodman for a photo on the front steps of The Mob Museum. All participants in this photo will also receive a free Museum admission ticket. Parking will be available at the adjacent downtown RTC depot.
This photo opportunity is part of The Mob Museum’s three-day “Being Oscar Bash” that includes a book launch party on Thursday, May 23, courtroom presentations and the first Las Vegas book signings on Fri., May 24 and Sat., May 25. Also on Saturday, May 25, at 3 p.m., judging will take place for the best Oscar Goodman and showgirl lookalikes.
WHEN:
Saturday, May 25
9:30 a.m. – Winners of “Being Oscar” promotions (organized with local radio stations) board Big Bus Tours bus (open-top, double-decker bus) at The Mob Museum to join Oscar on a 30-minute tour of “Oscar’s Las Vegas.” All riders will wear Oscar Goodman masks, pin-striped-suit t-shirts.
10 a.m. – Bus returns to The Mob Museum; bus riders disembark and join first 50 members of the public to arrive for the photo op on the Museum front steps.
10:30 a.m. – Photo opportunity featuring Oscar Goodman, showgirls and 100 people wearing Oscar Goodman masks and pin-striped suit t-shirts.
3 p.m. – Judging for the Oscar Goodman and showgirl lookalike contests
