Located in a residential neighborhood about a 15 minute walk from the downtown area or a short drive. Easy to miss as not a lot of signage in front and a very small dedicated pull in parking spot for several vehicles. Definitely off the well-trodden tourist path of the downtown and marina area.
This space is much more then a home décor store; it is a shopping mecca for one of a kind Mexican handicrafts sourced from around the country. Features both a downstairs and an upstairs space with individual rooms dedicated to certain home décor or genre of handicraft.
Highlights include ceramics for the kitchen, a children’s room, colorful statues to brighten up the interior of any home or business, numerous types of crucifixes and plenty of other items to keep even the most hard-core artisan shopper interested. The use of all available space for display is clearly evident – even the sides of several trees are home to some decorative items, for sale of course.
Located in a hacienda-style home with a large open air courtyard and a neighboring space containing a small pool housing several turtles. Eventually part of the building will be converted into a boutique inn. Owned by restaurateur, Edith Jimenez.
